I have noticed that some of the albums I uploaded to Apple Music do not show up in the LongPlay app. It seems the problem was that I hadn’t specified the total number of tracks in the tracks’ ID3 tags / Information.

I am aware that you’re using this property (along with the actual number of tracks) in the algorithm that determines whether albums are shown in LongPlay.

I can’t think of any perfect solution right now — some people upload entire albums, others don’t. I would probably prefer simply showing such albums regardless. Practically speaking, I don’t use the My Library view much — there’s a lot of junk there anyway — and I’m happy with the Collections I’ve created.

But at least an update to the Troubleshooting FAQ would be nice.

I also think it would be useful to show a link like “Album doesn’t show up? Check troubleshooting” at the end of the My Library view, and maybe at the top after three consecutive pull-to-refresh actions.
